Garlic Garlic

This is so easy to make and a great way to both preserve your garlic, and make a vinegar that is great for both cooking and for salad dressings.


  • Half a bulb worth of garlic cloves, peeled
  • 500ml cider vinegar, or white wine vinegar

Making Garlic Vinegar

  1. Put the garlic bulbs into a glass bottle (I use the glass bottles I buy the vinegar in)
  2. Bring the vinegar to the boil, and pour over the garlic
  3. Seal and store for at least a month before using.
