Making Rose Petal Vinegar
- Half fill a 1litre jar with rose petals and press them down.
- Top the jar up with white wine vinegar.
- Seal and leave for 3-4 weeks, then strain and bottle.
This rose petal vinegar is best made from highly scented rose petals. Wild roses or old fashioned varieties are ideal. It is perfect served with a very light salad, and adds a great summer floral flavour.
