Honey is another of those ingredients that were traditionally used to make beer on the British Isles long before hops and grain were used. This recipe is a more modern take, and uses some hops, however tastes distinctively of honey.
Beers made from plants or herbs were once common in Britain before hops was introduced. Nettles in particular were a popular ingredient. Pick only the tops, and do so before they flower as older nettles are bitter and somewhat poisonous... and don't forget to wear gloves
